The Demiurges are the main antagonists of Cargo! The Quest For Gravity. They are responsible for the loss of gravity on Earth and the creation of the Buddies, all in the name of what they call "the Great Makeover".
Personality[]
Each Demiurge has their own personality, but all share the same projection of superiority over humankind. They lament about the failure of humans and how they needed to provide a change, which is why they sought to create a better creation through the Buddies. All three of them berate Flawkes through her adventure.
Chronis is the more passive observant one, making notes about the events that transpire through the game and encourages it colleagues to reflect upon them. While it does not concede its superiority over humankind, Chronis accepts their failures face on, before asserting that their next project or task will succeed.
Pronis is the assertive one, who shares the same observant nature of Chronis but with a confrontational manner. It addresses Flawkes and the failure of humans with scorn, and declares its creation of the Buddies to be the only possible outcome. It seems to enjoy its power as a god, often talking to Flawkes condescendingly and trying to command her attention.
Uranis is the most passive of all of the Demiurges, who is more often to be seen panicking over the growing failure of the Great Makeover. It speaks with a stammer on its T's and D's, and seems to greatly fear how Flawkes openly ignores the demands of it and its colleagues. However, Uranis is not without its own methods of manipulation, and attempts to use reverse psychology to trick Flawkes into forgetting what it is she needs to be doing.
Appearance[]
Each Demiurge has a different appearance, though all move along the rollercoaster-style track of the main island.
Chronis is the mask made of silver steel, with orange eyes, a blue-yellow wheel mouth, and red metal fans for 'hair'. It has several teeth within the wheel-shaped mouth, and wiring coming out of its jaws. There are several gears that turn when it speaks. An orange symbol sits atop its head, with various sigils carved into the red fans. It has a large red nose and orange clippings on its scalp.
Pronis is the mask made of silver steel with an orange fan in its forehead, blue-pink eyelids, and opposing eyes. One eye has two round orbs that rotate within, similar to Devil, while the other is a silver gear. It has blue and pink fans, similar to Chronis, though these stick out of its head, like pinwheels, They are also carved with various sigils. Its jaw moves on an axis, with a large red mouth with sharp, grinding teeth.
Uranis is the mask made of wood, painted green, cyan, and purple. Its eyes are shut, and the shape of its 'hair' appears to be wooden blocks painted purple, which are also present on its jaw. It has an open mouth with teeth, painted yellow and cyan, but it speaks through a large peppermint striped horn that is lodge within its mouth.
